In 2005, Kim and Rob Walker ventured into the ice cream world with a mixture of terror and excitement. “We didn’t know what we were doing, but we were determined to have fun doing it!” It was the most exhausting, exhilarating and fulfilling 7 years, until the business was sold so that they could relocate outside of Quebec and start again. Except they didn’t relocate. For five years Kim sat filled with sadness at no longer doing the one thing she knew how to do well: Make people happier with ice cream.
In their shops and from their ice cream truck, one item alone brought them fame… their fresh baked ice cream sandwiches! It didn’t matter how many were in stock, every day they sold out! With much enthusiasm and encouragement from family, friends and community, in 2017 the Walkers jumped back in business with their beautiful and delicious product – The Ice Cream Sandwich! A classic, affordable, feel-good treat that is acceptable to eat at any time of the day.
